This is a very special project.

I’ve started to deeply research about death connection through music during July of 2023 in a residency PAF - France. There I offered the activation of this cycle. It’s a 20min live music ritual to support our imagination to create new memories of our gone ancestors, by bdancing with them. It is a strong collaboration with other type of beings and it was created to be shown by the forest.

To set up the space I used herbs, flowers, candles, shells and sculptures made of local branches.

The second presentation of this piece was in August of the same year, at the Brücke Museum in Berlin, comissioned by the OnSite Festival. In this second act of the project I left the scultures made there to continue dialoguing with the site.

The third presentation was comissioned for Levels Art Galery in November of 2023 for a private event, also in Berlin.

The last show was in July of 2024, again in PAF for it’s one year birthday, during the Reading with Echo residency of Denise Ferreira da Silva and Valentina Desideri. For this sharing I decided to install the piece inside of a chapel. 

This was a collaboration with the performance ‘Acará’ of Luma Nascimento.
